I called the team at Martel after getting some other very high estimates. Aaron came right out and worked with me to find the best solutions for a fair price. He looked at different options and locations to fit the house. Highly knowledgeable and professional.Aaron and the team just finished up the install and it came out great. I can't say enough how great it was to work with Aaron Martel on our heat pump project. After walking through our house to see the layout, he explained a few different ways we could configure the mini-splits and outdoor units to maximize the efficiency and then tailored the job to our needs. He ended up presenting us with 3 separate quotes based on 3 different options we had considered.He is extremely knowledgeable and was attentive, responsive, and really went above and beyond to get us exactly what we were looking for. After he finished installation, he took care of all of the paper work necessary to get our rebate from Efficiency Maine processed. All I had to do was sign my name and email the form.He took care to make sure all of our needs were met and was very courteous and respectful of our home.I can't recommend Aaron enough. We had gotten a couple of quotes from other installers prior to meeting Aaron. Aaron is by far the most knowledgeable in his trade compared to the others, and it is evident within minutes of meeting him.

We had Aaron install a four pump heat system in our house and could not be happier!! Aaron is friendly and responsive. He showed up on time and finished in the time frame that he gave us (a rarity in contractors). He has great attention to detail and made sure to install everything in the most aesthetically pleasing way that he could. If you're in the market for some great heat pump service, look no further than Martel Mechanical! My heat pumps were installed incorrectly when I moved into my house and Aaron was able to come out and fix the problem within a few days, saving me a LOT of money in the future for any damage the poor installation would have caused. Aaron is professional, knowledgeable, responsive and reasonably priced. I will definitely use him for servicing in the future an would recommend him to anyone.

We had Aaron install a 5 zone heat pump system at our house in Yarmouth. After meeting with a couple salesmen from other larger companies meeting with Aaron was a relief. Speaking directly to the owner and person who will complete the work is so much more efficient. Aaron is clearly over qualified for this type of work and it shows in his ability not only to explain the details of how the system works but also in helping the customer make the correct decisions on the critical details. What you will not learn from sales people at the bigger companies is exactly how your set up should run in order to get the most efficiency from it while keeping all of the lines on the outside of the house to a minimum. He showed up on time or early all 3 days he worked on our project and he was unafraid to access our difficult attic and a crawl space to complete the work exactly to plan. If you would like to speak directly to the expert and have the work then completed by him then you have found the best company you will find. It is difficult to find companies and people these days who are as good as Aaron, we suspect he will be very busy for years to come and it would be our pleasure to have him back when we expand our system to a bonus room.

I cannot emphasize enough how good of an experience this was. Aaron and his crew were extremely professional and got the job done quickly and beautifully. The cost estimate was better than other company I got quotes from and I am extremely happy with the quality of the job.Before the job, Aaron helped me get through the efficiency Maine paperwork and I was left with no questions. There were no hidden fees or surprise costs. The only issue we ran into was that some of the equipment was back ordered but that was not the fault of Martel Mechanical and as soon as it was in, they were ready to install!After the heat pumps were completely installed and the electrician was finished, Aaron talked me through the basics on using them over the phone and then came to my house one last time to walk through the more specifics. I would highly recommend Martel Mechanical for any of your heat pump needs.

Aaron Martel, the owner of Martel Mechanical, repaired my two marine HVAC units on my Back Cove 33 yacht. He quickly diagnosed the issue and resolved it within an hour. Aaron’s years of experience in the marine industry were evident as he efficiently moved around my engine room with ease and got the job done efficiently and effectively. He took the time to trace my HVAC system with me so that I had a better understanding of how everything works. Furthermore, he discovered a slow leak due to a loose hose clamp and repaired that for me as well. I highly recommend Martel Mechanical for any of your HVAC needs, including marine systems!

Just had Martel Mechanical install heat pumps and AC and Aaron is the best and reasonably priced. He is so focused on the smallest details and was fussier than us. He takes lots of pride in his work. We didn't worry at all. He can even make heat pumps and AC look attractive if that's possible! LOL. Seriously, he made sure aesthetically that everything looked great.
